Jens-Thorsten Rauer

Jens-Thorsten Rauer joined GFT in 2020. As member of the Group Executive Board, he is responsible for the regions of Central and Western Europe. His goal is to further develop these markets and drive growth and profitability in a sustainable manner across the two regions.

In his previous role, Jens-Thorsten was leading the DXC business with banking and capital markets clients in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. As part of his responsibility for the operational sales and earnings results (P&L), he led the definition and implementation of respective go-to-market strategies and plans, including the development and commercialization of DXC’s software and services portfolio for banking and capital markets clients.

Jens-Thorsten previously served as Managing Director Financial Services, Central and Eastern Europe for HP and HP Enterprise, with P&L responsibility for the insurance and banking business in this region. In that role, he successfully drove profitable revenue growth, returning the business to innovation and outcomes, whilst at the same time increasing client satisfaction. Prior to this, he held several business and sales executive roles at IBM; earlier in his career he served as a Senior Vice President of Global Infrastructure and Run Services for Dresdner Bank, and following the acquisition by Allianz also in the wider Allianz/Dresdner Bank corporation.
