Wprowadzona w 2020 roku nasza inicjatywa GreenCoding pomaga naszym pracownikom, freelancerom, klientom i innym partnerom rozwijać i uruchamiać oprogramowanie w sposób bardziej energooszczędny. Nasza metodologia GreenCoding podkreśla odpowiedzialność środowiskową poprzez programowanie efektywne pod względem zasobów. Dzięki temu zmniejsza się wpływ na środowisko, redukując bezpośrednie i pośrednie emisje gazów cieplarnianych.

Data protection by design

The mission of GFT Group Data Protection is to foster trust in digital transformation. This goes beyond the mere protection of personal data. It is about preserving human rights and freedoms in the processing of personal data. Since 2018, GFT has followed a data protection by design approach: Processing activities and business practices are designed in line with legal and ethical principles of human dignity. This includes all relevant IT systems and projects.

With additional training, our software developers and architects can become certified as "Privacy Engineers". We are increasing the number of privacy engineers to meet the demand for expertise in managing data protection risks in software development.

Our robust framework provides a reliable path to trustworthy AI. For example, data protection impact assessments for GFT’s products „AI Impact” and “Smaragd“ have identified and mitigated potential risks from the outset, ensuring a secure and responsible design. In 2023, our commitment to data protection was acknowledged with the prestigious IAPP Vanguard Award EMEA presented to GFT's Chief Privacy Officer.

Inclusive Coding

The „digital divide” is the gap between those who have access to technology and those who do not. People who are digitally excluded are often also financially excluded, dependent on cash, and must pay more for certain goods and services. Digital exclusion can result from geographical limitations of digital services, gender aspects or differences in age, socio-economic situation and education. We believe software designers can help ensure that everyone can participate in society. Our internal community for “Inclusive coding“ ensures that code respects and reflects the diversity of all people who use technology.
