Learning

You have plenty of professional development opportunities to make your mark here, including domain-specific trainings (like finance and banking), access to e-learning platforms (such as Pluralsight, Egghead, O'Reilly, A Cloud Guru, Udemy, Coursera), cloud certifications, conferences, mentoring programs or business and tech communities. We share knowledge both in chat boxes, in the lobbies, and on team chats, as well as in the form of cyclical webinars conducted by numerous internal tech communities.

We support certificates from A to Z - we offer mentoring, preparation sessions, and we pay for the exams. Annually, about 150 people from our team obtain certificates in the field of AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Java and many other technologies.

The GFT Career Model is the common global framework for professional growth aligned with the GFT Core Values. It enables our talents to take their career to the next level by setting clear expectations for employees’ performance based on their job family and level.

Although technical skills are important, we also provide a framework that supports the development of core skills like communication, learning agility, influencing, problem solving & analytical thinking, teaming & building relationships, strategic thinking and planning & delivery. Mentoring Program

WomenTech

As the IT sector is a male-dominated industry, we especially support women to succeed in the tech industry. We established our WomenTech Mentoring Programme as part of DE&I strategy, supporting women to feel empowered, confident and contribute to our success.

The WomenTech Mentoring Programme has been a great success in developing skills such as confidence, self-awareness, communication, and others, encouraging GFT women in various countries to improve themselves and become leaders. In 2022, two Spanish and one international edition were completed, with a total of 55 mentees. GFT Costa Rica, Germany, Switzerland and the USA led young talents trough eight mentoring sessions in which they received valuable career advice from mentors and speakers.

In 2023, the WomenTech programme is being rolled out to all 15 GFT countries. To date, 4 editions have been launched with 77 graduates, and there are more to come.

Accelerated Leadership Programme (ALP)

Become an inspiring leader with our Accelerated Leadership Programme! The programme consists of 8 modules focusing on business knowledge and management skills. In the course of a year, you’ll go through all the important areas of our work.

You’ll get new perspectives, gain experience, and unleash your potential. We combine daily project work with coaching and provide you with management tools.
